When a law firm has to change marketing partners unexpectedly, choosing the next agency is only part of the job. Before anything is redesigned or relaunched, you need to know that your domain, website, advertising accounts, analytics, call tracking, content and intake systems are safe and still working.

If your immediate problem is access—not a new marketing plan—our Agency Rescue is a one-time engagement designed to help you recover control of your website, domain, hosting, analytics, Search Console, advertising accounts, content and other critical files.

Juris Digital helps law firms protect that foundation, restore clarity and build a connected growth system across search, AI, content, paid media, website conversion and intake.

Juris Digital is not affiliated with PMP Marketing Group or PracticeMadePerfect.

If you are a current PMP client, protect these assets first

Do not wait until you have selected a new agency to confirm ownership and access. Start with the systems that can interrupt leads or make a later migration much harder.

    1. Domain and DNS

Confirm which registrar holds your domain, whose name is on the account, who receives renewal notices and whether your firm has administrative access. Domain control can affect the website, email, tracking and every campaign that points to it.

    2. Website and hosting

Request a complete website backup, database export, media library, theme or source files, plugin list, hosting credentials and a list of third-party services. Review your agreement to confirm who owns the site, content, photography, video and custom code.

    3. Search and analytics accounts

Secure administrator access to Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Google Business Profile, call tracking, reporting dashboards and any rank-tracking platform used for your firm.

    4. Advertising accounts

Confirm that the law firm owns or has administrator access to Google Ads, Local Services Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, YouTube and any landing pages or tracking numbers tied to those campaigns. Preserve campaign history before anything is paused, transferred or rebuilt.

    5. Intake and CRM connections

Test every form, phone number, chat tool, scheduler, email notification, CRM route and automated follow-up. A website can look normal while qualified inquiries quietly stop reaching the right person.

    6. Strategy and creative files

Collect keyword research, content calendars, ad creative, brand standards, photography, video, media plans, historical reports and signed approvals. These files shorten the transition and reduce unnecessary rework.

“Marketing agencies get acquired, sold, consolidated and sometimes close. We have acquired a couple of agencies ourselves, so I know these transitions can happen for many reasons, including operational changes or new private equity ownership. Whatever the reason, your law firm should control the assets it paid for: its domain, website, hosting, analytics, Search Console, advertising accounts, content and data.

But I also know that is not always the reality. Some agencies keep those systems in their own accounts or make access difficult. If you are in that position, call us or email us. We will personally help you understand what you control, what is at risk and the safest path forward. These situations are stressful because of the uncertainty. Our job is to remove that uncertainty and help put your firm back in control.”

Why law firms consider Juris Digital

Juris Digital is not a collection of disconnected marketing services. JurisOS is a growth operating system that determines what your firm needs, in what sequence and how each part will be measured.

A senior owner for the whole strategy

Your Marketing Executive connects website, SEO, AI search, content, paid media and intake around the cases your firm wants to sign. You are not left to reconcile separate channel reports or manage a rotating group of vendors.

Search and AI visibility built together

Prospective clients now evaluate law firms across Google, AI answers, reviews, referrals and the website itself. Juris Digital builds the technical, local, content and entity signals that help your firm become discoverable and credible across those surfaces. Our guide to generative engine optimization for law firms explains how that work fits with SEO.

Reporting that follows the lead to the retained case

Clicks and form fills matter, but they are not the finish line. Our RevOps work connects marketing, intake, CRM activity and recorded outcomes so your firm can see which investments produce qualified consultations, signed cases and revenue.

A website and conversion path designed around intake

The ad, search result, page, phone call, form and follow-up should make one coherent promise. We design the digital experience around the people you want to help and the way your team actually responds.

Who Juris Digital is best for

Juris Digital is a strong fit when your firm:

    • Needs to stabilize a website, paid campaigns, tracking or intake after an agency change
    • Wants SEO and AI-search visibility managed as one strategy
    • Has outgrown channel-by-channel reporting and wants accountability to signed cases
    • Needs content, creative, paid media, website and RevOps working together
    • Values an evidence-led plan over a fixed package of deliverables

Juris Digital may not be the right sole provider if your immediate priority is large-scale broadcast television, terrestrial radio, billboards, transit advertising or other offline media buying. We will be direct about fit and about any capability that should remain with a specialist.

A practical transition, in the right order

    1. Secure. Identify the accounts, access, contracts, data and dependencies that could interrupt marketing or lead flow.
    2. Back up. Preserve the website, content, creative, tracking setup, campaign history and reporting your next strategy will depend on.
    3. Stabilize. Prioritize the systems closest to revenue: website availability, lead capture, call routing, active ads, analytics and intake handoffs.
    4. Audit. Establish the baseline, map your competitive standing, define the cases you want and identify where spend and effort should go next.
    5. Build forward. Based on the evidence, your firm may move into JurisPage for a strong digital foundation or JurisOS for an integrated growth system.

Does PMP identify websites it built?

Sometimes. PMP’s public website says it hosts client infrastructure on SMP, short for Sites Made Perfect. Some law-firm websites display a “Powered by SitesMadePerfect” footer, and at least one live example exposes a pmp-theme WordPress asset path. Other sites disclose PMP’s role in a legal or advertising notice.

These signals can help a firm understand potential technical dependencies, but they are not a complete client list. A historical case study or old attribution does not prove that PMP currently hosts or manages a site. We treat a live technical marker differently from a past public relationship.

    Frequently asked questions

    Has Practice Made Perfect closed?

Yes. PMP employees privately confirmed to Casey Meraz that PMP Marketing Group had ceased operations. Those direct confirmations corroborate the client notice stating that operations would end on October 16, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. A company’s website can remain online during a transition, so firms should preserve the communications they received and promptly secure their accounts, data and other marketing assets.

What should I do first if my law firm’s marketing agency closes?

First, secure administrator access to your domain, DNS, hosting, website, advertising platforms, Google Business Profile, analytics, Search Console, call tracking, CRM and intake tools. Then create backups and test every lead path before making strategic or design changes.

Can Juris Digital take over a website built by another agency?

Often, yes. The answer depends on the content-management system, hosting, contractual ownership, source files, licenses and the access your firm controls. We begin by inventorying those dependencies and identifying the safest path forward.

Will changing agencies hurt our SEO?

It can if URLs, content, internal links, metadata, schema, hosting, DNS or tracking are changed without a migration plan. A proper transition preserves high-value pages, maps redirects, maintains technical signals and benchmarks rankings and traffic before changes are made.

What if PMP managed our Google Ads or Local Services Ads account?

Confirm that your firm has administrator or owner access, preserve billing and conversion settings, export campaign history and document all connected landing pages, phone numbers and intake routes. Do not create a replacement account until you understand what can be transferred or retained. Our law firm PPC team can help audit those connections.

Does Juris Digital handle TV, radio or billboard buying?

Juris Digital is primarily positioned around digital growth: SEO, AI search, content, websites, performance creative, paid media and RevOps. If offline media is a major part of your current plan, we will be candid about what needs a separate specialist.

Keep your marketing and intake moving

You do not need to decide the next five years today. You do need to protect the assets, access and lead flow your firm depends on.
