    Who we’re looking for:

    The SEO Account Executive is responsible for ensuring the success and happiness of enterprise-level law firms. You’ll seek to understand their law firm’s needs, and challenges and use your expertise to lead them to the right marketing solutions for their year-over-year ROI goals.

    Your day-to-day will be spent managing SEO strategies and driving a big impact on winning new leads for those law firms.  You’ll manage a team of SEO specialists and provide them with the direction and support needed to do their jobs effectively. You’ll set priorities, strategies and be available to partners as the driver of their campaign and expert consultant. You’ll have confidence in your SEO strategies and how you communicate it, and you’ll grow and learn together with your team, holding yourself and your team accountable while enjoying some friendly competition.

    What you will do:

    • You are ambitious, organized, methodical, highly analytical, and comfortable with custom SEO strategies
    • You will foster new partnerships, initiate new contracts, and maintain and grow accounts over time
    • Manage accounts for your team and strive to drive value to reduce churn
    • Build strong executive relationships with the customers
    • Be a consultative, trusted strategist for your partners by building in-depth relationships and understanding the business goals and objectives
    • Set up and drive consistent quarterly business reviews at the customer, often in person
    • Exhibit deep and up-to-date knowledge of our services & algorithm updates in order to communicate the benefits of new services and strategy enhancements
    • Forecast and track all account metrics.  Manage and grow your expansion pipeline
    • Represent both market trends and client needs to the Director of Existing Growth and the Executives to ensure we are both serving current needs well and evolving our services and portfolio to identify future partner needs
    • Meet or exceed annual quota

    Our ideal candidate will be or have:

    • Experience closing new partner accounts and managing existing law firm accounts
    • 5+ years of SEO consultative experience managing large enterprise relationships with SEO strategies and achievable ROI goals.
    • 2+ years of experience managing a team
    • A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box to complex situations
    • Ability to maintain and expand relationships at all levels
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – able to simplify complex topics in a friendly and approachable manner
    • You are flexible and able to juggle and complete multiple priorities and SEO projects (internally and externally) in a fast-paced environment
    • You have the ability to oversee the performance of all SEO campaigns and ensure that key insights are incorporated into future activity (monitor and report KPIs and technical issues across all partners’ websites)
    • You can accomplish these regular Tasks:
      • Keyword research and content planning
      • ID’ing primary transactional and informational keywords
      • Link building planning
      • Local SEO planning
      • Technical website auditing 
      • Competitor Analysis
      • CRO auditing and recommendations
      • Conversion tracking strategy 
    • You have significant knowledge in / experience with
      • WordPress 
      • Google Analytics 
      • Google Search Console
      • Google My Business
      • SEO competitor research tools (Ahrefs, SEMRush, etc.)
      • ScreamingFrog
      • ChatGPT
    • Providing support/training for support staff on all manner of SEO / digital marketing tasks
    • Creation of advanced content / link building initiatives for high-value partners

    • Responsible for making sure partners stay within budget. However, this will be everyone’s job.
    • General knowledge of software applications i.e. Hubspot, Clickup, Google Apps, etc.
    • Travel to clients as needed.

    Compensation:

    The on-target earnings for this role starts at $60,000 annually. Various factors determine the final compensation for this role, such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. The total compensation for this position is a mix of base salary and uncapped commissions earned.
