    Who we’re looking for:

    As the Art Director at Juris Digital, you will lead our creative team in developing and executing visual stories and strategies that align with our clients’ goals and brand identities. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire design process, from concept to completion, ensuring that all creative output meets the highest standards of quality and effectiveness. Your role will involve collaborating closely with designers, developers, partners and other stakeholders to produce compelling visual content across various digital platforms.

    What you will do:

    • Creative Leadership:
      • Lead and inspire the creative team, setting the story and vision for projects and ensuring alignment with client objectives.
      • Develop and maintain visual brand guidelines for clients, ensuring consistency across all deliverables.
      • Provide creative direction and feedback to designers, ensuring that all work is on-brand, visually compelling, and effective.
    • Project Management:
      • Oversee the entire design process, from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring deadlines are met and budgets are adhered to.
      • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other team members to ensure seamless execution of projects.
      • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet client needs.
    • Client Interaction:
      • Work closely with clients to understand their brand, vision, and objectives.
      • Present creative concepts and strategies to clients, effectively communicating the rationale behind design decisions.
      • Incorporate client feedback while maintaining the integrity of the original creative vision.
    • Visual Design:
      • Create and oversee the development of visual assets, including logos, typography, color schemes, and other brand elements.
      • Designed and directed digital content creation, including websites, social media graphics, email campaigns, and more.
      • Ensure that all visual content is optimized for various digital platforms and devices.
    • Innovative Thought:
      • Drive innovation by actively seeking and implementing cutting-edge technologies, methodologies, and creative solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible on the web and in design. Encourage the team to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to every project.

    Our ideal candidate will be or have:

    • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a creative leadership role developing/building an in-house team, preferably within a digital agency.
    • Experience: 5-8+ years of experience in Brand, Digital and Web Design
    • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital design work, including web design, branding, and multimedia.
    • Excellent understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas clearly.
    • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
    • A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually stunning and effective designs.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Figma, WordPress, Webflow. Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus but not required.
    • Leadership: Proven experience leading and mentoring a creative team, with strong project management and team collaboration skills.
    • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    • Legal Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the legal industry or experience working on projects for law firms is a plus but not required.
